The Munchkins Club for kids in Grades 3 to 7 offers a safe and engaging environment where they’ll discover how to care for and connect with miniature horses.
With expert guidance, they’ll build confidence, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories—all while enjoying hands-on experiences with our gentle ponies.

Munchkins Club For Experiential Learning
Munchkins Club is the perfect program for young equestrians to deepen their love for horses while gaining hands-on experience in equine care and responsibility. Whether they’re new to the horse world or already taking ground and riding lessons, this club helps kids develop essential skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Through interactive learning and plenty of pony time, kids will build confidence, make lifelong friends (both human and equine!), and discover the joys of caring for their four-legged companions.
Munchkins Club runs year-round with monthly sessions, plus special programs during Christmas, March Break, summer, and P.A. days—giving kids even more opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun with ponies!

What Is The Munchkins Club?
Program Outline
Students will learn the following topics:
- Horse and Rider Safety
- Take care of the horse – from stable management to feeding routines
- Grooming including bathing
- Tack management, care, and cleanliness in the barns
- And much much more!!!
Students are required to bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing. *
- Form fitting pants (No sweatpants, no baggy clothing)
- Snack and water bottle
- Hat and sunscreen (if applicable)
- Running shoes and boots with a one-inch heel (No sandals)
Classes are 1 hour in length.
Please note that there are no makeups and no refunds for missed classes.

SOCIAL GREETING
Kids start by meeting the ponies and each other—building comfort, confidence, and connection from the very beginning.

HANDS-ON LEARNING
They learn how to safely brush, pet, and care for the ponies with simple, guided instruction that builds trust and responsibility.

HORSE HANDLING
With guidance, children lead their ponies through basic movements—boosting coordination and self-assurance.

FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Fun games or mini challenges encourage teamwork, laughter, and lighthearted competition (everyone wins in their own way!).

FIRST SEASON COMPLETE
By the end of their first season, kids walk away with new friendships, real-life skills, and magical memories they’ll carry forever.

Equipment Required:
- a helmet (a bicycle helmet is fine)
- closed toe footwear
- gloves optional
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a riding program. Children must be able to follow basic safety instruction. As this is an interactive program, the child’s parent/guardian must be present for duration of the class – we promise you’ll have fun too! This program is geared for children ages 3 and up!

No, all Munchkins Club registrations are non-refundable. Once registered, your child’s spot is reserved, and we are unable to offer refunds or transfers.
Do I need to sign any forms before my child participates?
Yes, all participants must have a signed waiver on file before attending. This ensures that both parents and children understand our safety guidelines and policies.
What should my child wear to Munchkins Club?
For safety, children should wear closed-toe boots with a small heel, comfortable clothing they don’t mind getting dirty, and a riding helmet.
What does my child learn at Munchknis Club?
Munchkins Club provides hands-on learning in stable management, horse safety & care, horse handling, and fun group activities designed to build confidence and skills.
Can parents stay and watch?
Parents are welcome to stay and observe from designated areas, but we encourage children to participate independently to build confidence and responsibility.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Sessions will continue in a covered or indoor space when possible. If extreme weather conditions require a session to be rescheduled, we will notify parents in advance.
