Want a small taste of one of our programs?
This experience is designed as an introductory session for families who want to explore what our learning programs are all about. It offers a hands-on glimpse into the activities, structure, and teaching style we use in our full programs.

Participants will take part in interactive, progressive learning activities with our miniature horses in a group setting, including grooming, learning safe handling skills, and confidently leading the minis through our obstacle course—all guided by our experienced team.

This is the perfect chance for horse-crazy kids who are still too young for traditional riding lessons—or who feel intimidated by larger horses—to connect with our amazing team of miniature horses!

What's Included In A Demo Day Class With Mini Horses?

During this interactive experience, participants will:

Learn about grooming and safe handling
Lead our minis through an exciting obstacle course
Build confidence and skills in a supportive group setting

✅ Advance registration is required — spots fill up quickly!

✅ Attire: Please dress for the weather (sessions are indoors, but the arena is not heated or air-conditioned).

✅ Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required for both children and parents (no Crocs).

✅ Helmet Policy: Children must wear their own helmet at all times (bike helmets are allowed).

Registration Fee:
$60 + HST ($67.80 total) per child.

What are Demo Days?

Demo Days are 40-minute, one-time introductory sessions held on long weekends. They offer children aged 3 and up a chance to engage in ground-based activities with miniature horses, including grooming and leading them through obstacle courses.

Is there any riding involved?

No. All activities are ground-based, focusing on safe handling and building confidence around ponies.

What should participants wear?

Children must wear closed-toe shoes (no Crocs) and a helmet (bike helmets are acceptable). Dressing appropriately for the weather is recommended, as the arena is indoors but not climate-controlled.

How much does it cost?

The fee is $60 plus HST, totaling $67.80 per child.

What is the cancellation policy?

All sales are final, with no refunds for missed or canceled sessions. Exceptions are made only if Munchkins & Minis cancels due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances.
