Meet Stephanie

Founder & lead facilitator.

Stephanie Jensen is the founder of Munchkins & Minis, a one-of-a-kind program dedicated to creating meaningful, hands-on experiences with horses for children, families, schools, and communities. With over 30 years of equestrian experience, Stephanie combines exceptional horsemanship with a passion for teaching, helping children build confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of horses through safe, interactive experiences.

An FEI rider since 1996, Stephanie represented Canada at the North American Young Riders Dressage Championships and has competed successfully through the Grand Prix level. She is an Equine Canada Level 2 Dressage Coach, Competition Coach Specialist, Equestrian Canada Gold Medalist, and Cartier Farms Certified Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Facilitator.

Today, Stephanie brings the same dedication and professionalism from the competitive dressage arena into every Munchkins & Minis experience. Whether hosting mobile pony parties, private learning sessions, corporate team-building events, or community programs, her goal is to create unforgettable moments while fostering confidence, kindness, and a genuine connection between people and horses.

Meet Amanda

Assistant & "glitter glue."

Amanda first came into Stephanie's life as a student. After bonding quickly she decided to hand over the reins of her retired Grand Prix horse. Amanda then went on to compete at the North American Youth Championship on the Ontario juniors team. Then over the years she's become a dear friend and an irreplaceable part of Munchkins & Minis. As Stephanie's assistant — and her "glitter glue" — she keeps everything running smoothly while adding the thoughtful details that make every experience truly magical.

Questions, answered.

Where do you operate?

We serve Durham, Toronto, Markham, Stouffville, Newmarket & Aurora for mobile parties and events. Travel within the GTA is included; longer trips are quoted case-by-case.

How far in advance should I book?

Most weekends fill up 4–6 weeks ahead. Spring and summer book even further out — get on the calendar as early as you can.

How much space do we need?

A flat outdoor area roughly the size of two parking spaces (about 20×20 ft) works for most parties. We can adapt — just tell us your space.

Are the ponies safe with kids?

Yes. Our minis are temperament-tested, trained for events, and always handler-led. Trained and experienced handlers are on-site the entire time.

Can guests ride?

Our miniature horses are for grooming and interaction, not riding. For ride-style experiences, ask about our private lead-line rides.

Is your facility open to drop-ins?

No — we are by appointment only. Demo Days and scheduled programs are the only times the farm is open to visitors.

What's your refund policy?

We have a no-refund policy for deposits, programs, and Demo Days. Weather cancellations are worked out on a case-by-case basis for a new date.

Have a question we didn't cover?

Send us the details and we'll reply within 1 business day.
